04/02/26. EMERGENCY -Ciara is 10 years old and weighs 29 lbs. She was an owner surrender, and we needed to pick her up immediately.

Broward County Animal Care called and told us we had to pick her up right away or she would be euthanized today. We drove to the shelter in tears to save her.

It’s heartbreaking that she was allowed to get to this point before anyone asked for help.
