2/16/26 Jingles/Jasper: After 11 weeks of literally getting this boy back on his feet, I can proudly announce that he is officially ready for adoption. This is where I need your help now to get him shared so we can find his perfect person/family. I’ve included a ton of pictures during his time here.
Without further ado— ♥️
Jasper is an adult male Doberman who is the equivalent of an 80lb barnacle. He’s available for adoption through Doberman Rescue League in Ft. Lauderdale and can be adopted within the state of Florida. He is currently being fostered in Broward county.
His story in a nutshell:
This sweet boy was found emaciated as a stray after being hit by a car, suffering a shattered tibia. After intense surgical repair and 11 long weeks of recovery, he’s officially healed up, cleared, and ready to start living his best life.
Personality: Velcro Level 1000
(off the charts, really).

Likes to give “little kiss”.
️ Likes to have company with him while he eats. (Very social, extrovert type of guy).
✔️ Certified Velcro Dobie (wants to be in your skin, not just near you)
✔️ Loves lounging on the couch like it’s his full-time job
✔️ Enjoys playing with toys and being a happy goofball
✔️ Friendly with other dogs
Cats unknown (he hasn’t been tested)
⭐ Crate trained (but will need an Impact/heavy-duty crate)
⭐ Walks well on leash
⭐ Loves car rides and is the perfect passenger prince
Kids?
He hasn’t been around children yet, but I think he would be excellent with them. We pick him up, touch his feet, his ears, take toys from his mouth and he’s never once showed an ounce of resource guarding. But, because he’s a big, clumsy love tank, a home with older kids (10+ years) would likely be the best fit if kids are in the picture. He doesn’t care what size lap he sits in. If he fits, he sits.

12/04/25 Surgery went well lost of meds he is in foster is a long way to recovery ❤️
12/02/25 12:30 PM Dr. Larin will be taking more X-rays and Jingles is scheduled for surgery tomorrow. He’s being monitored today and is getting the right pain meds at Miami Veterinary Services. We're not sure how long the fracture has been there, but we're keeping our fingers crossed for this sweet boy. The estimated cost for his surgery is $5,000. Please think about donating to help with his treatment. 12/02/25. We picked up Jingles, who’s 6 years old. He was found abandoned in West Kendall. The Miami shelter reached out to us, so we went to pick him up. Right now, we're at MVS, waiting to talk to the surgeon. This little guy is skinnier than the photo we were sent.
