12/04/25 Surgery went well lost of meds he is in foster is a long way to recovery ❤️‍ 

12/02/25 12:30 PM Dr. Larin will be taking more X-rays and Jingles is scheduled for surgery tomorrow. He’s being monitored today and is getting the right pain meds at Miami Veterinary Services. We're not sure how long the fracture has been there, but we're keeping our fingers crossed for this sweet boy. The estimated cost for his surgery is $5,000. Please think about donating to help with his treatment.

12/02/25. We picked up Jingles, who’s 6 years old. He was found abandoned in West Kendall. The Miami shelter reached out to us, so we went to pick him up. Right now, we're at MVS, waiting to talk to the surgeon. This little guy is skinnier than the photo we were sent. He cried the whole way here, and it’s clear he’s in a lot of pain.

Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs. Here are links to foster and adoption applications for those dogs who need a foster home or adoptive home.
