03/29/26. Four-year-old JACK is begging for your help to find his forever person. This striking red boy is incredibly affectionate and very smart. He can be a little nervous when he first meets new people, but he’s quick to read the room and figure out that he’s safe.
He needs a bit of time to build trust and really does best with consistency, clear expectations, and good boundaries. Once he feels secure, his sweet, gentle nature really starts to show. He loves working alongside his handler, takes pride in having a “job,” and forms deep, sincere bonds with his person. Because of that, he’ll need an adopter who understands that he may be unsure or wary when new people come into the home.
JACK’s confidence grows with positive experiences. He likes treats, but in his world, praise and encouragement matter even more. He does enjoy other dogs, though he’s really best as the only “king canine” in the home. Due to his high prey drive, he can’t live with cats or small animals.
He loves walks, car rides, and going into the office to play with his toys. After being gone for nine months, JACK came back and, when asked, went and fetched me his favorite red ball like no time had passed at all.
With the right, breed-savvy adopter, JACK will truly flourish into the elegant, loyal Doberman he is meant to be.

1/16/26. Jack is a striking red male Doberman whose presence is as warm as it is impressive. Beneath his sleek, athletic build lies a deeply affectionate heart. While he may show a touch of nervousness when first meeting new people, Jack is quick to read the room and understand that he is safe. Once that trust is established, his friendly and gentle nature shines through, revealing a dog who forms sincere bonds with those around him. His confidence grows through positive interactions, and praise means far more to him than treats ever could.

Intelligent and well-mannered, Jack demonstrates proper on-leash obedience and takes pride in working alongside his handler. He thrives on structure and clear expectations, responding best to verbal encouragement and genuine affection. Though he can occasionally be distracted by squirrels or other small prey, his focus returns quickly with guidance and reassurance. Jack is selective with other dogs, preferring calm, respectful interactions, and he does best when his boundaries—such as staying off bedroom and living room furniture—are clearly maintained.

Jack truly comes alive on his walks, where he can explore the world at his own pace and engage his sharp mind. These outings provide the mental stimulation he craves and help him feel balanced and fulfilled. At home, he finds simple joy in his favorite nylon bone, content to relax after a day of learning and discovery. Jack is a loyal companion who flourishes with praise, consistency, and understanding—an elegant and devoted Doberman whose depth of character is as beautiful as his appearance.

7/22/24. Meet JACK, this absolutely adorable 2year old red boy is looking for his forever home. He is new to the rescue so we are still getting to know him but he is a sweet boy that waits patiently in his kennel until it's his turn to come out. He likes everyone he meets although can be a bit shy at first. He would be happy as the only dog in the home. Since he came from the shelter we can no history of kids or cats with him so we will not put him in that situation.
