7/25/23. THE Incredible IZZY! This sweet 6 year old gal is looking for her furever family. Having been left outside as a yard ornament the 1st five years of her life she hasn’t had the easiest life and is grateful for the simple things like a comfy bed to lie on, her favorite blanket, yummy treats or a pat on the head. IZZY loves the water and loves to play fetch with ball. She is extremely intelligent and attentive and will work for treats. She knows all her basic commands, her release word is “all done”. She is great in the car, is very tolerant of all grooming from nail trimming to ear cleaning and even sits quietly to get her nails painted. She loves people but can be very independent at times. She is very clean, docile and not destructive at all. She can be left alone for several hours and will just lay quietly on her bed waiting for you. She is the best lizard catcher ever. IZZY needs a quiet calm environment with an experienced Doberman owner who understands her and will appreciate her for the amazing dober girl she is. Although Izzy seems to like other dogs outside, in a confined setting she may feel threatened and therefore it best she be the only princess at home. No cats. I love them all but Izzy touches my heart .
