All Breeds Obedience Classes
What to bring on the first night of class:
Dog student, Broward County Rabies tag or proof of shot, slip collar, a six foot leash (no retractable leashes), treats cut or broken into small pieces.
We meet in a parking lot, so bring a lawn chair for members watching.
The classes cover basic dog obedience commands:
sit, stay, down, come, walking on a leash and greetings. For more information and directions call Jim @ 954-563-7061.
2008 Class Schedule
January there will be no pre-registration - class and registration is held on Thursday, January 10th at 6:30 p.m., class will begin at 7:00 p.m.
February pre-registration Thursday January 31st at 6:30 p.m. First class will be, February 7th at 7:00 p.m.
March pre-registration Thursday February 28th at 6:30 p.m. First class will be, March 6th at 7:00 p.m.
April pre-registration Thursday March 27 at 6:30 p.m. First class will be, April 3rd at 7:00 p.m.
May pre-registration Thursday April 24th at 6:30 p.m. First class will be, May 1st at 7:00 p.m.
June pre-registration Thursday May 29th at 6:30 p.m. First class will be, June 5th at 7:00 p.m.
July pre-registration Thursday June 26th at 6:30 p.m. First class will be, July 10th at 7:00 p.m.
August pre-registration is Thursday July 31st at 6:30 p.m. First class will be, August 7th at 7:00 p.m.
September pre-registration is Thursday August 28th at 6:30 p.m. First class will be, September 4th at 7:00 p.m.
October pre-registration is Thursday September 25th at 6:30 p.m. First class will be, October 2nd at 7:00 p.m.
November 20th will be the last night of classes until January 8, 2009.
December - no classes all volunteers are on break until January 8, 2009

Rally and C.G.C. Class Schedule
- May 1st - Rally Novice class - 6 weeks - $70.00
- July 3rd - Canine Good Citizen class - 5 weeks - $70.00 includes CGC test and certification.
- September 4th - Rally Advanced class - 6 weeks - $70.00
- October 16th - Canine Good Citizen class - 5 weeks - $70.00 includes CGC test and certification
We are offering Rally Beginners and Advanced classes from 7-8 p.m.. The cost is $70.00 for a 6 week class. We are also offering 2 Canine Good Citizen events at class.
Drill classes are $5.00 per week. Please call 954-563-7061 for more information, ask for Jim.
Weekly Drill/Rally
The weekly, skill-building Drill/Rally class, are for those who have already been through a Basic Beginners Obedience class and would like to polish acquired skills in preparation of competition or just for socialization. The classes are held every Thursday night from 8:00 to 8:45 PM at the below-mentioned location. The price of the class is $5.00 per week
Rally-O
The name Rally Style Obedience has been adopted for this concept of Obedience training and competition because of the use of directional signs to guide the handler throughout the perfomance in a manner somewhat similar to the sport of Rally Car Racing. Rally-O is the nickname for the sport. The directional signs are numbered and arranged sequentially in the form of a course with a variety of turns to contain it within the boundaries of the ring, and a start and finish line. the team of dog and handler heel from sign to sign and perform the exercises indicated by the sign at each location. Each directional sign, or exercise sign as they are more commonly called, is composed of a code name for one of the Rally exercises. More information can be accessed throught the AKC website.
Rally run through will also be held Thursday nights from 8-9 p.m. Run through are $5.00 each without Rally trainer assistance. Rally trainer is only available through the actual Rally classes.
Rally-O classes are set up by pre-registration only.
Location:
We are about 1/4 of a mile south of our old location at the City of Wilton Manors Hagen Park .
Our new location is 1600 NE 4th Avenue - you will find us in the Northwest corner of the west parking lot across the street from Ft. Lauderdale High School. We are on asphalt, the lighting is great and the ground is even. Fencing encloses the parking lot. No seating is provided, please bring your own lawn chair.
